Advanced Reporting
Advanced Reporting gives extra flexibility with some predefined reports such as being able to filter a report by state, county or township. One example of this in the advanced reporting module is how the G/L Trial Balance has drill-down capability. This means that you can click on a balance to see the transactions that make up that balance.
The Advanced Reporting application will include 12 predefined reports based on the information within your database. We have included these reports for you based on perceived industry interest.

Third-Party Software
The Advanced Reporting application is a third-party software application, which means that it was not designed or written by SherWare, Inc. We have included this application with our software as a way to provide additional reporting capability for you. The application was written by Stonefield Query, and they have given us branding permission to use it, which is why you will see our logo and company name displayed within the application.
Opening the advanced reporting
When you choose Advanced Reporting from the Reports menu, a separate application will open on your allowing you to use the Advanced Reporting application. When this is first opened, a SherWare Query Setup Information wizard will appear to guide you through the setup information. After this setup is complete, you can begin viewing the predefined reports or creating new reports if you have that capability.
Specifying the file paths
The wizard will ask you for the location of the report files, which should be filled in automatically based on the software installation information. If this field is empty, or you need to change the location specified, you should browse to the location of the \SWQuery\Data\ folder located on your computer, or the computer where the Accounting Manager is installed. The wizard will also ask for the location of your Accounting Manager program folder. In this field, you should specify or browse to the following location: \Program Files\SherWare\AMPRO\ This will be located on the computer where you are opening the Accounting Manager from. Next, the wizard will ask you for your e-mail preferences should you want to e-mail any report from the application to a recipient. Lastly, the wizard will ask to run an Analyze Database function which will determine which tables and fields contain data and mark them as favorites.
After you have completed the setup wizard, the application will prompt you for a login. In this login , the username is: ADMIN, and the password is: admin.
Advanced Reporting Help
For more information on how to use the Advanced Reporting application, click on the Help button, or choose the Help menu at the top of the Advanced Reporting . Since this is a third-party software application, the help file will be separate from the SherWare help file.
