Understanding the Suspense Report

The suspense report will total by owner and subtotal by well. Each line represents the amount from each production period that went into suspense on a given a run closing. The suspense type column indicates the reason why the owner is on hold. H=Owner hold, I=Interest Hold, D=Deficit, M=Minimum, Q=Quarterly Disbursements, S=Semi-Annual Disbursements, A=Annual Disbursements.

The amounts listed in the Oil Inc, Gas Inc, Other Inc, Expenses, Gathering/Compression, and Taxes fields are calculated by the software and are not to be used as official numbers. Certain situations will affect the suspense balance that can cause these numbers to appear incorrect.

The "Net" column is accurate and is what you should use when looking at the suspense report. The Net column represents the total amount of the suspense that this line is adding or removing from suspense.
