Update State 1099 File

The 1099 totals broken out by state will be stored on this window. The information on this window is what will print on the State 1099. You can view and edit these records after the 1099 file is created.

If the records on this window are edited, the changes will be lost if the 1099s are re-created.

Any changes made on this window will not affect the federal 1099 ot Owner 1099 Reconciliation report. Therefore, you will need reproduce the same changes on both the "Update 1099 File" and "Update 1099 Detail File" windows if those also need to be affected.

Vendor 1099s may appear on this window, but will not be reported to the state. They appear on the window because they were needed in the past when we accomodated the combined filing.

NAVIGATION: When browsing between records, be sure to use the lookup list in the toolbar. Changing the owner in the ID field will not take you to a different record but will assign the visible interest to the owner you select. This is changing the information on the current record instead of navigating to a different one. Be sure to use the navigational tools provided in the toolbar to prevent mistakes. Once the proper record is selected you can then make adjustments to it.

Most of the fields on this window are the same as the update 1099 window. You can refer to that window for each field not mentioned below.
