G/L Account Activity

The G/L Account Activity report shows the accounts chosen for a particular period or period range and each of the debits and credits that were made to the account during that time.

NOTE: If you need to view this information for a different range of time then allowed for this report or you would like to see the overall Debits and Credits for the report then you can view the "Journal Reports" under Reports. G/L Reports, then Journal Reports. This is essentially the same report with a different format and different options.

Print By
Fiscal Period - Enter the fiscal period for which the report should be run.
Fiscal Year - Enter the fiscal year for which the report should be run.
Fiscal Period Range - Enter the beginning and ending fiscal year and period for which the report should be run.
Accounting Date Range - Enter the beginning and ending date for which the report should be run.

Exclude Accounts With No Activity
This option eliminates accounts from the report that didn't have any activity during the selected range.

Summarize Activity by Journal
This option gives a single line total for each account for the selected range.

Selection Criteria
Fill in the time period what you want to run the report for based on the Print By selection.

From Account Number/To Account Number
Enter or choose the range of account numbers to include in the report.
