Balance Sheet

This report is the company's balance sheet as of a specified date. Two different kinds of balance sheets can be printed. A Standard Balance Sheet shows the current period's balance sheet accounts and their balances. The Comparative Balance Sheet shows the current period's balance sheet accounts and their balances as well as the same period last year.

Report By
Select whether to report on a specific fiscal period or for an entire fiscal quarter.

Fiscal Year, Fiscal Period
Enter the fiscal year and period for which the balance sheet is to be printed.

Quarter
Select the quarter on which to report if the option to report by quarter is selected above.

Include Accounts
Choose the Account level that you would like to report on. The account levels are specified on the Chart of Accounts window for each account.

Include Accounts with Zero Balance
Check this box if all accounts should appear on the report even if they have a zero balance.

Print a Comparative Statement
Check this box if a comparative balance sheet should be printed. (Compares this year with last year)

Print Total Lines for All Sub-Accounts
This option totals all accounts under a parent account and reports a total for them.
