Well Expenses by Section
This report shows all expenses for wells, totaled by their section (lease operating, tangible drilling, etc.).
The totals for each column are a sum of all of the expenses that have been entered where the Expense Code is associated with that "Expense Section Code." The report looks at the "Section Code" and not the "Section Code description." So regardless of the description, the columns will show a total of the "Expense Section Code" used according to the two-digit code. For example the following are the respective section codes reported. Leasehold Costs (LC), Tangible Costs (TC), Intangible Costs (IC), LOE Costs (OE), and Misc Costs (Any other code). If you have changed the description of the Expense Section Code, the report will still show the expense in the column if the two-digit code of the Expense Section Code is still the same as shown above.
Report By
Production Period Range - Includes all expenses within the production period range chosen. If you choose Production Period Range, the report will only include data that has already been processed on a run closing.
Run Number - Includes all expenses within the Run selected.
Accounting Date Range - Includes all expenses processed on a run closing that was processed with a closing date that falls within the specified date range.
Beginning Year/Period - Ending Year/Period
If production period range is chosen as the report criteria, enter the beginning and ending year and period. This portion of the window will change to allow the you to select the run number, or accounting date range depending on the report criteria selected.
First/Last Well
The range of wells on which you wish to report.
Calculate for a specific owner
If you only want to see a certain owner's share of expenses, check this option and enter their name below.
Owner ID
Allows you to select the owner you wish to see the report calculated for. Enter the owner's id, or select it from the lookup list. (Only displayed if the option to Calculate for a specific owner is selected.)
Group
The well group on which you wish to report.
Show Detail
Check this option if you would like to see the individual well detail, instead of a summary.
Report by Month
Check this option if you would like subtotals for each month on the report.
Show All Expense Sections Separately
Changes the column headings to display the expense section descriptions and removes the revenue and tax information. The report will display the first nine expense sections defined in the Expense Section Code window.
Section
If you are showing detail you can choose which to view the report for a specific section.
